Daily Commute: The Longest

6:03 am: Left the house with my siblings who study in Katipunan.

7:15 am: Rode the LRT to Cubao Station

7:30 am: Arrived in Gateway ( where the MRT terminal is )

And it all went downhill from here

Waited for about an hour just to get in under the staircase to the MRT

Waited for 15 minutes under the staircase

After 15 minutes, we were given a go signal to move towards the platforms ( above the  staircase )

Everybody ran, some people even pushed.

Finally, in the platform,

There wasn’t even a line. Just a sea of people ( 3rd picture from the left )

After 4 trains have passed by, I finally could ride one.

No matter how much anger, sadness and frustration I felt about the dire situation that our country is in, the most unbearable feeling for me was helplessness.
